Using Dataframes dataset we can analyze new companies registration in Denmark, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Serbia in the last 20 years.
It's interesting to see an influence of 2007–08 financial crisis on each country. Each country had some slowdown in thew rate of new businesses registration. However, it seems that Slovakia had the biggest impact: basically new companies registration rate dropped significantly.
Another interesting noticeable spike is Croatia since 2012. This can be easily caused by joining EU.The chart on the right is interactive. You can click on the country to deselect it from the view. That way you can analyze data only for countries you need.
